Kari was born and raised in the Midwest. She helped work cattle by horseback along side her family on their farm. She and her family traveled to Colorado every summer, along with their horses, to ride and camp in the mountains for their vacations. Moving to Colorado was always a dream for Kari so she could be closer to the mountains.

Kari has had the pleasure of traveling with her horses while competing in sorting, reined cow horse, cutting, Extreme Cowboy Races, Equine Trail Sports and Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Of course, she still enjoys trail riding in the mountains and loves exploring in the neighboring states.
